Mary Quant - 1973

Mary Quant (b.11th February 1930) is an iconic English fashion designer. She was an instrumental figure in the 1960s London-based 'Mod' and youth fashion movements whose designs embodied the 'swinging sixties' movement.

This image was taken for one of the many adverts Duffy produced for the Mary Quant brand. The advert, which ran in Cosmopolitan amongst other fashion magazines in 1973, had the title 'Before she designed a single cosmetic, she changed the world of fashion.'
