Amber Ritchie was married to former serviceman and advertising executive John Ritchie and had two children, the youngest being British Film Director Guy Ritchie.

After their divorce in 1973, Ritchie remarried Sir Michael Leighton, 11th Baronet of Loton Park, before divorcing in 1980. As a divorcée, she is correctly styled as Amber, Lady Leighton.
