An original tearsheet from the Observer Magazine on the 13th of November 1977. The article by Angie Errigo titled 'Doing It Their Way (Like Singing Rock)' focused on female rockstars Carol Grimes, Debbie Harry (Aka Blondie) and Maddy Prior.

Carol Grimes recorded her debut album with The Average White Band, for whom Duffy produced an iconic greatest hits album cover.

Blondie, pictured at age 33 in her Pattie Smith Group shirt, had just released her first album of the same name. Her iconic career continues to this day.

Maddie Prior MBE is best known as a founding member and lead singer of the band Steeleye Span.
