This was Duffy's second magazine cover for Vogue. The first from May 1959 was made up of a Duffy fashion photograph with a coloured graphical background. This issue of Vogue released in April of 1960 features Marie-Lise Grés in the rain.
The caption reads: "April showers, but who cares, Young Idea can flourish her scarlet umbrella. The dress beneath, red, white and navy striped jersey, straight skirted, short-sleeved, very chic and casual. Dress 9 1/2 gns., Jaeger branches. Umbrella by Peerless, from £4 15s. 6d., Dickins & Jones."
The magazine also features Duffy photographs of a 19-year-old Grace Coddington posing for 'Shop Hound,' a portrait of Lord Snowden then known as Tony Armstrong Jones and a portrait of John Cranko.
Duffy also shot an advert for the Bazaar boutique shop at 46 Brompton Road. The stylish shop in Knightsbridge had an affiliation with Mary Quant and her husband Alexander Plunket Greene.
